No specialty equipment is needed to make these cookies. Just a few microwave safe bowls. I don’t use melting pots. Just a good old microwave.

Firstly lay out the nutter butters, red M&M’s, candy eyes, and pretzels on a sheet of freezer paper. Parchment paper can also be used. This where you will set the cookie after being dipped.

Decorating Rudolph Cookies

Quickly place the broken pretzels as antlers. Then add the candy eyes and the red nose for Rudolph. Do this before the chocolate dries. Let the cookies dry for about an hour until everything is set.

TIPS FOR rudolph COOKIES

  • Make sure to shake the excess chocolate off the cookies.
  • Place the candy eyes, pretzels, and M&M’s while the chocolate is still wet. If it’s dry it won’t stick.
  • Use parchment or freezer paper to sent them on for easy lift when dried.
  • Break the pretzels just at the cross to come out with the best looking antlers.

You can make these one day ahead. If you make the peanut butter cookies to far in advance they get soft and stale. I like to make them the same day and store in an airtight container.
