What I like to do is make the dough ahead of time when it’s holiday season. Hence, it’s made a day ahead then it can be popped out to fridge to make cookies for holiday gatherings or to put out for Santa. For example, you can make them the day before Christmas Eve then let the kids roll them in powdered sugar and bake them.

These Christmas Crinkle Cookies don’t have to be red and green. Hence, you can use just about any color you would like to. For example, purple, pink and blue can be adorable for winter style cookies. Try different color palettes for parties too. For instance, pastels for unicorn or vibrant colors for a painting party.

Lastly, since they are cookies made from cake mix they are nice and soft. Therefore they are easy to pack for the holidays as they just don’t break like a regular cookie!

    1. Yes, you will need each set of ingredients to be able to make each set of cookies. I would suggest doing them one at a time or you may have some inconsistency in the batter.
