Every holiday I like to create wreaths for my front door. I try to keep the wreath a budget price. I see no reason a wreath should be expensive. This Mardi Gras wreath cost me under $10. It features Mardi Gras masks, those signature beads, and two little top hats.

The hats, masks, wreath frame and beads I bought at Dollar Tree. I paid about $5 for all the accessories. When it came to the deco mesh I picked it up at a craft store. Along with some pipe cleaners to attached the deco mesh to the wreath.

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS MARDI GRAS WREATH

Mardi Gras Wreath For Fat Tuesday
  1. black deco mesh
  2. variety of colored beads
  3. 2 mardi gras masks
  4. 2 top hats
  5. black pipe cleaners
  6. wire wreath frame
  7. hot glue gun
  8. wreath hook

At six points on the outer rim of the wreath tie off a piece of pipe cleaner at each. Do the same on the inner wreath. For video of how to do this look here. Then weave your deco mesh and tie off with pipe cleaners. Hot glue the top hats and masks were you would like them placed. The beads are not glued on. I just wrapped them in and they dangle and stay put. Hang on wreath hook.
