On Labor Day, we decided to have a simple family meal of five cheese tortellini bake before my daughter headed to color guard practice. We always seem to have something going on. Simple family dinners where we can spend more time talking than in the kitchen can be very important.

FIVE CHEESE TORTELLINI BAKE

Yield: 6 Servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Three cheese tortellini's topped with sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs tortellini's
  • 1 jar Mezzetta's Napa Valley Homemade Sauce; Roasted Garlic and Caramelized Onions
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • â…“ cup parmesan; shaved

Instructions

  1. Boil tortellini's according to package directions. Drain.
  2. Heat sauce on low in a pan.
  3. Pour tortellini's into a casserole dish and top with the warmed sauce.
  4. Cover with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
  5. Broil on high for about 2 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve.
