When you need something very basic for a side dish to go with a meal coleslaw is key. You can top it on a sandwich or slap on the side either way it does the job. Though, coleslaw for me is key when having spicy dishes as it helps cool down the flame or otherwise called heat.

This is a simple coleslaw recipe I use when needing to add a side dish to a meal like chicken or pulled pork straight from the crock pot. It’s a great one to pack for picnics, car trips, and quick dinners. I just love the simplicity of this coleslaw. Takes no more than five minutes to make and saves for a few days when refrigerated.

On another note, my son and I went to see The Legend of Hercules today. It had low ratings and I can’t understand why. It had great battle scenes, wonderful acting, and mediocre animation.

The animation could have been better but I can deal with that when there is a good plot with pretty fantastic battle scenes.  How would you rate a movie?

We plan to go see Lone Survivor this weekend too. I Frankenstein comes out in two weeks in which we will be also visiting the theater to see. I am looking forward to a few films this year. Divergent and Noah look surprisingly interesting.

I prefer fantasy films, renaissance films, and medieval films. What kind of films do you enough? Anything specific you are looking forward to this year?

Hercules with Dwayne Johnson really looks like it’s going to be that one to see. I personally cannot wait for all my shows to come back on including The Walking Dead. I am super curious to find out what happens after the split of the prison. It looks like it’s going to get really interesting!
